Hogansville will regulate panhandling
Hogansville City Council is likely to take a vote Monday on an ordinance regulating pan handling.
At a Thursday work session, council looked at outlawing panhandling in the commercial corridors along U.S. 29 and Ga. 54, including the commercial area next to Interstate 85.
Non-profit and religious groups, such as Girl Scouts selling cookies or a church youth group asking for aluminum cans, would be exempt.
