Sixteen states and 26 pairs of shoes in, Kim Denmark stopped her walk across America in LaGrange two years ago. Saturday, she’ll start again. “It’s time to continue my ministry,” Denmark said. Storm brings little damage to area
The line of severe storms that brought tornadoes to parts of the Southeast on Wednesday and Thursday for the most part spared Troup County. The county was under a tornado watch until 4 a.m. today and a severe thunderstorm warning about 11 p.m. with high winds reported in the area. Multiple trees were down on power lines at South Davis and Hamilton Roads. Other limbs down, along with scattered power outages, were reported.
