Police: Woman stabbed boyfriend

A LaGrange woman allegedly stabbed a man early Sunday morning at a Carver Street residence.Tangela Hammett, 37, was charged with aggravated assault after her she allegedly attacked her boyfriend in the kitchen of their shared residence on the 200 block of Carver Street.According to police reports, the victim walked all the way from Carver Street to the LaGrange Police Department headquarters on Haralson Street to report the crime.

A mother, who had four small children in the back seat of her vehicle, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol Sunday morning in south LaGrange.The 32-year-old mother told police she had “killed a bunch of beers at lunch today at Six Flags,” according to police reports.
