Mrs. Parmer was born June 1, 1916 in Randolph County, Alabama, daughter of the late James Wilburn White and Cassie Fowler Creed. She was a charter member of Grayhill Baptist Church and a member of the WMU. Mrs. Parmer was retired from Callaway Mills.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, LaMerle and Fred Kelley; son, Winford Parmer; daughter, Faye Caldwell; and daughter-in-law, Pamela Harris Parmer all of LaGrange; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann Wortham of Wedowee, Alabama; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Parmer; son, Roger K. Parmer; grandsons, Randy Kelley and James Parmer; daughter-in-law, Sue Parmer; stepmother, Nellie White.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 today at the Grayhill Baptist Church with Reverend Kenneth Parker officiating. Interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
