Mrs. Yates was born September 1, 1923 in Harris County, daughter of the late Daniel and Cleo Justice Sivell.
Survivors include a son, Don Dunn; granddaughter, Shawn McKenna, grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Donnie and Hang Dunn; great-grandchildren, Mark McKenna Jr. and Dillon Dunn; and several nieces and nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Yates.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 Friday at Restlawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Brad Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6:00 until 8:00.
