Mrs. Catheryn Moore 81 formerly of LaGrange passed away on Friday at Well Star Cobb Hospital in Austell.

Mrs. Catheryn E. Moore was born in Chambers County, Alabama the daughter of the late Ernest and Lucille Bryant.

Mrs. Moore attended East Depot Elementary School and was a graduate of East Depot High School. On December 26, 1946 she entered into holy matrimony to James Moore and later moved to Brooklyn, NY. While in New York she became a Licensed Practical Nurse and retired from Kings County Hospital.

Survivors include: two daughters; Jacqueline Patricia Moore (Robert Smith) of Detroit, MI, Evelyn (Vacher) Hearn of Stafford, VA., one son Ronnie E. (Betty) Moore of Snellville, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one sister Carolyn Jean Bryant of Atlanta, one brother Frank (Emma) Bryant of Flint, MI., one daughter-in-law Cathy Moore of Atlanta, three sisters-in-law; Juanita Woodyard, Hattie Truitt and Annie Ruth Turner all of LaGrange, one great aunt Dovie Lee of LaGrange, relatives and dear friends.

She is preceded in death in addition to her parents and husband by one sister Christine Bryant.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1pm at Warren Temple UMC with the Rev. James Ware officiating. The interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
