Mr. Jerry Bryant Walker, Sr. (The Bug Man) 68, of LaGrange, owner and operator of Walker Pest Control passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan. Mr. Walker was born April 29, 1943, in Troup County, son of the late Percy Reese Walker Sr. and Sara Bryant Walker

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lynda Foster Walker of LaGrange; daughter Cindy Walker Hazel of Phenix City, AL; son, Bryan Walker of LaGrange; three grandchildren, Jonathon Walker Hazel, Dylan Walker and Daymon Walker; sisters and brothers, Betty Jo (James) Walls, Bill Walker, Tom (Ramona) Walker, Robert Walker, and Wanda Scarborough; and his two beloved and spoiled-rotten Shih tzu dogs, Percy and Penny.

The family will receive friends for a time of remembrance at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00. There will be no other services held. In-lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Walker to the ASPCA or the Troup County Humane Society.
