Thank you for running the editorial about me in your paper. I have been fortunate to have a great career in education and coaching. Having been 2X National ‘Coach of the Year’, 4X Southeast Regional ‘Coach of the Year’, 9X Georgia ‘Coach of the Year’, Troup High ‘Teacher of the Year’, Troup County ‘Teacher of the Year’ , Georgia State Semifinalist’ Teacher of the Year’, and leader of the largest SADD (Students Against Driving Drunk) Chapter in the world, I have never had my name published in a font that large.

Through your smear attempt, I was able to get my name out to the PEOPLE and basically announce my candidacy. You were also nice enough to publish my website (www.daniel4schoolboard.com) enabling it to get more hits than any day since it was developed in June 2011.

There was one slight error in your article, however. I DID NOT write the letter, but it was sent to me by a teacher who wished to state her views, but also remain anonymous for fear of loss of her job. I plainly stated that in my email, but that fact, not surprisingly, was ignored.

I will continue to write to your ‘paper’ and express my views. Hopefully, you’ll afford me the same rights as atheists and others in the community. Despite your efforts and the efforts of the LDN, WE will return the system to THE PEOPLE.
