Burglary, theft
•Someone stole about $500 of clothing from a residence in the 7000 block of West Point Road.
•A thief took a 2003 Hyundai Sonata valued at $4,500 from J&L Transmission and Auto Repair at 1 Swain Ave. on Friday morning. A person at the business said the keys were left in the vehicle.
Auto Damage
•A man reported that someone vandalized his 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix by making deep scratches and profanity on almost every panel of the vehicle, and shattering a window while it was in a parking lot behind his residence in the 100 block of Old Airport Road. Cost of the damage was estimate at more than $500.
