Troup County Sheriff’s Deputies made two arrests for suspected drug possession at a traffic stop on Fuller Road Tuesday.
Deputies located a black Adidas bag in the rear of the a tan Ford Explorer, containing two sets of digital scales, four packs of miniature plastic baggies along with other paraphernalia. According to police, two large bags containing suspected marijuana, labeled “Master Kush Ultra,” and suspected ecstasy, were also found. Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Troup County Jail.
Driver Latoya Monique Brewton, 25 of Austell, and passenger Raedell A. Jackson, 35 of East Point, were both charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of ecstasy. Jackson was also charged with obstruction of an officer for his alleged attempt to flee the scene, according to police.
