Mrs. Edna L. Smith, 89, of LaGrange, passed away Friday afternoon at Florence Hand. Mrs. Smith was born April 2, 1923 in Heard County, daughter of the late Harvey and Elsie Smith. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Clark Smith, grandson, Jason Smith both of LaGrange; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Vickie Smith of St. Marks, Raymond Smith of Luthersville, Paul and Gerry Smith of Rome; sister, Eloise Cardwell of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Yancy Smith, daughter, Rita Gail Hardee, sisters, Florine Purcell and Annette Murray.
Graveside services will be 1:00 today at Shadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Sidney Tate officiating.
