CLEMSON, SC — Spencer Calvin Mason of LaGrange graduated Cum Laude from Clemson University with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering.
While at Clemson, Mason was a four-year Clemson Tiger Band member, a Pep Band member and participated in a study-abroad program at TU Vienna, Austria, last summer. He is a member of The American Institute of Chemical Engineers and is currently employed with Michelin North America in Greenville, S.C.
Mason, a 2008 Troup High School honor graduate, is the son of Steve and Suellen Mason, and the grandson of Mildred H. Shaver, all of the Gabbettville community.
Spencer Mason was part of Clemson University’s largest graduating class at three spring commencement ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum on May 11. There were 2,841 degrees awarded.
