I would like to take an opportunity to recognize some fine people in our community who have recently helped the Boys & Girls Club here in LaGrange. Last week, Jackson Heating & Air, with the help of Dukes Electric, and several members of their team installed a new air conditioning unit in our facility in LaGrange.

The previous system was old and no longer working as we headed into the summer months! Both of these businesses donated the entire cost of the project including labor, parts, and supplies.

Steven Taylor, Jamie Smith, Joey Shaw, and especially Dale Jackson made it happen, with Danny and Donny Dukes providing all the necessary electrical work. The Club here in LaGrange is serving over 100 kids a day this summer with 120 registered to take part in our all-day programming that runs for eight weeks and engages kids in recreation, arts and crafts, and educational enrichment activities.
