Wendell Darrell Cummings, age 54, of Five Points died Friday, June 22, 2012, at West Georgia Medical Center.

The family will receive friends at Quattlebaum Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 25th. (No funeral services)

Survivors include his wife, Patty Putman Cummings of Five Points; one daughter, Tracy Swann of LaGrange, Ga.; three sons, Lee Cummings, Tony Cummings and Jason Cummings, all of LaGrange; his mother, Grace Cummings of Five Points; one sister, Brenda Snider of LaFayette; two brothers, Steve Cummings of Alexander City and Michael Cummings of Roanoke; three step-sons, Matthew Driver, Mark Driver and Luke Driver; and seven grandchildren.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Cummings was born October 2, 1957, son of Jimmy H. and Grace Simpson Cummings. He had formerly worked as an inspector with General Fibers in LaGrange.
