Police are investigating the death of Thomas Hubbard, 81, after he was found naked and unresponsive in the back yard of his home on Hamilton Road Sunday afternoon.
Two men were arrested on drug charges after police stopped their car for loud music and an improper brake light on Youngs Mill Road Saturday.
Officers asked if they could search the vehicle after the driver appeared to be attempting to hide something in a center console, a police report said.
Officers found a plastic bag, glass pipe, spoon and set of a digital scales all containing suspected methamphetamine residue. They also found four pills and about 100 clear plastic bags in a separate containers, the report said. Cory Spradlin, 23, was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
The owner of the car, Justin Carl Hembree, 19, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule III narcotic, possession of a schedule IV narcotic and improper brake light, the police report said.
•At least three rifles were reported stolen after a burglary at Alpha 1-Bail Bonds, located at 922 Hill Street Saturday. An employee told police he arrived at the business to find a window had been broken and guns previously mounted on the wall were missing, according to a police report.
•A LaGrange man said a thief stole his 18-foot Bobcat Tow Pro brand trailer from outside his hotel room at the Jameson Inn, located at 110 Jameson Drive. He said the trailer is worth $6,000.
•A LaGrange woman said a thief stole two flat-screen televisions from her home in the 600 block of Degroat Street. She said the 55-inch LG flat-screen was worth $4,000 and the 19-inch Visio flat-screen was worth $250, according to a police report.
•A LaGrange woman said a thief stole a black Magnavox television, worth $600, from her home in the 800 block of Ash Street Friday.
