Story Hour featuring stories, fingerplays, songs and rhymes for preschoolers and their escorts is at 10:30 a.m. at Hawkes Library in West Point.

Vendors sell fresh produce, cheeses, honey, boiled peanuts and other items at Callaway Gardens Farmer’s Market from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Gardens’ Robin Lake Beach in Pine Mountain. Admission is free to the market through the beach entrance.

Guest tango teachers Rick and Lynda Wilson of Atlanta will teach beginners Argentine tango at 7 p.m. with a dance at 8 p.m. at LaFayette Christian School Gym, 1904 Hamilton Road. WBRQ 91.9 FM and Gooden Entertainment Group hosts Summer Fest in Cox Park at Union Street and Hamilton Road from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday is a kids fun day with free food, games, face painting, music and more.
