Police are investigating an armed robbery in which a man was cut by a man with a knife demanding money at the Days Inn, located at 2560 Whitesville Road, Saturday.

The victim said the suspect grabbed him by the arm and told him to give him the money, and cut him across the stomach when he resisted, according to a sheriff’s office report.

Burglaries, theft

A LaGrange man said a thief stole his white 2003 Chevrolet Silverado truck from a home in the 200 block of Hearthstone Drive.

A LaGrange woman said someone broke into her 1999 Mazda truck and stole $100 and a black revolver in the 1000 block of Cameron Crossing.

A LaGrange woman said a thief stole a laptop worth $450 and more than $1,500 in jewelry from her home in the 100 block of Gorham Street.

A LaGrange woman said a thief stole three flat-screen televisions and a PlayStation 3 from her home in the 1000 block of Colquitt Street.

Arrests

Tory Shavez Cameron, 38, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and four counts sale of marijuana.

Cabrera Lamar Laye Jr., 19, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Quindarious Deron Smith, 18, was charged with armed robbery, obstruction of a city ordinance and failure to appear.
