Jill Philips: Student, Teacher and Painter with the Visual Artists Alliance of LaGrange and Donna Jackson, iron works artist, runs from Sept. 7 until Sept. 29 at LaGrange Art Museum. The exhibit combines the giant garden insects of metal worker Jackson with the out-of-door artistry of Philips, and showcases local talent from the VAAL. Works are available to purchase with proceeds benefitting LAM. Admission is free. Opening reception is Sept. 7 from 7 to 9 p.m with a private VIP curator’s circle reception at 6 p.m.
