Ms. Roberta Robinson, 94, of LaGrange passed away Friday at Hospice LaGrange.
Ms. Robinson, a native of Troup County, was born September 4, 1918 and was the daughter of the late Mrs. Lillie Robinson Russell. She was a homemaker and devoted member of Louise United Methodist Church where she previously served as Church Secretary, Usher and President of the Senior Choir.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving daughter, Jenniel Flowers, LaGrange; son-in-law, Allen McGhee, Odessadale, Ga.; sixteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, 34 great-great-grandchildren, six great-great-great-grandchildren; many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends; two special friends, Ms. Erma Marchman and Ms. Eunice Thornton.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, two sisters, and two daughters: Doris M. McGhee and Carrie D. Davis.
The Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 1:00PM at the Louise United Methodist Church, Hines Road. Rev. Jairo Gay will officiate. Burial will be in the Beasley Cemetery.
The family will be at their home at 652 Towns Road.
