When the suspect was driving away in his truck, the victim walked by and the suspect allegedly opened his door, striking her in the head with the door and causing her to fall and hit her head on the street.

Officers said the victim “was covered with blood and hysterical,” according to a report. She was treated for her injuries at West Georgia Medical Center.

Drunken woman damages car

Police responded to the first block of Union Court, where they found an intoxicated woman in her vehicle at her ex-boyfriend’s residence. The ex said the woman had entered the home with a key and tried to climb in bed with him, but he asked her to leave.

The woman told police the man must have flattened her car tire, but an officer said it appeared the tire and rim, along with the side of her vehicle, were damaged from sideswiping something wooden, like a utility pole. Police were unable to determine where she may have hit something, but she was charged with DUI and striking a fixed object after failing breathalyzer and sobriety tests.
