Mr. Tilmon Adams of LaGrange passed away Saturday at West Georgia Health.

Mr. Adams, a native of Five Points, Chambers County, Alabama, was born March 5, 1940 and was the son of the late Fred and Addie Bell Hunter Adams.

He was retired from Kleentex. Survivors include his wife, Sallie M. Adams, LaGrange; six children: Anthony Adams, Maria Kim Adams, Maurice Adams, Kamal Adams, all of LaGrange; Gregory Tilmon Adams, Atlanta; Pamela (Jeffery) Davis, Barnesville, GA; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Essie Mae Adams, LaGrange; one brother, Albert Adams, Los Angeles, CA; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Adams, Chattanooga, TN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friend/cousin, Willie Wright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bernard Adams; two brothers: Bobbie Lee Adams and Raymond Adams, and sister, Sadie Maria Adams.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00PM at the Smyrna Baptist Church, Highway 219 North. Rev. Titus Roberson will officiate.

Burial will be in the Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will be at their home at 400 Revis Street and at the home of his son, Maurice Adams at 1244 Mooty Bridge Road.
