Mrs. Eva Kate Davis Long, 76, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Long was born March 11, 1936 in Mountville, Georgia and was the daughter of the late John and Daisy Davis. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service and certified nursing.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacquelyn Wilkerson; grandson, Thomas Wilkerson III; granddaughter, Vanessa Wilkerson; brother and sister-in-law: John Jr. and Juanita Davis, LaGrange; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Willie J. Broady and James W. Long.
The funeral service is planned for 11:00AM, Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, Decatur, Georgia 30034. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery, New Franklin Road, LaGrange at 3:00
