Mrs. Annell Briscoe passed away December 1, 2012 in Copperas Cove, Texas.

Mrs. Briscoe, affectionately known as “Nell” was born August 1, 1941 to the late Herman and Mary Frances Tucker in LaGrange, Georgia.

Nell joined the Welcome Baptist Church at an early age. She retired from the Troup County School System.

Survivors include, her husband, Jimmy Briscoe; four children, Michael (Telecia) Tucker, Copperas Cove, TX; Kenneth Briscoe, Cynthia (Rufus) Hutchinson, both of LaGrange, GA; Angelia Briscoe, Charleston, SC; four sisters, Johnnie (Willie) Smith, Cynthia (Joseph) Harvey, Denise Tucker, Dorothy Tucker; one brother Herman Tucker, Jr., LaGrange, GA; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Alma Briscoe; brothers-in-law, Henry and Elijah Briscoe; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Confidence Baptist Church with Rev. J. R. Ware officiating. Burial will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
