Mrs. Juanita Simpson of Hogansville, Ga. passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012. She was born on April 25, 1933 in Evergreen, Alabama. After graduating from high school in Evergreen, she attended Alabama State University. Juanita married Mr. Grady Simpson in 1957 and moved to Hogansville, Ga. She was a member of St. Mary United Methodist Church and employed by the LaGrange City School System for many years.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 55 years, Mr. Grady Simpson; son, Ricky Simpson; granddaughter, Dione Simpson; brother, Bobby (Ann) Booker, God-daughter, Debbie Burden; and special friend Maudie Kate Lindsey.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at St. Mary United Methodist Church in Hogansville, Ga. Dr. Deborah Holloway will officiate and interment will follow in the Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
