Jimmy G. Broughton, age 63, of 128 Cox Street died November 26, 2012 at Georgia H. Lanier Hospital in Lanett, Alabama.
Mr. Broughton, a native of Troup county, was the son of Howard and Ruby Harris Broughton Sr. He attended the Public Schools and he held employment at Wal Mart. Mr. Broughton was a Deacon at Zion Hill Baptist Church on Cox Street.
Survivors include his brothers, Howard Broughton and Jerry Broughton both of Lagrange and several other relatives..
Viewing for Jimmy G. Broughton will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at West Georgia Mortuary from 12:00 P.M. Noon until 6:00 P.M.Direct Burial will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Howard Broughton at 129 Cross Creek Court.
West Georgia Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
