Catheryn Thelma Gosa, age 88, formerly of Juniper Street in Lagrange, GA died January 20, 2013 in Warm Springs GA following a lengthy illness.

Born in New Amsterdam, Indiana March 17, 1924, to parents Alfred and Marie Bottles, Catheryn married Edward (Ed) Charles Gosa in LaGrange GA in August, 1941 following his discharge from the Army in Fort Knox KY. Ed was an electrician for Callaway Mills, and they lived in LaGrange until they moved to Albany GA in 1950.

She was a member of the Stonewall Street Church of God during the 1940s, served as a den mother for the Cub Scouts and was active in the March of Dimes.

Later in life she enjoyed the activities provided by the Manchester Senior Center and will be remembered for her musical talent as she played the piano and other instruments for the seniors and the residents of Warm Springs Nursing Home.

Preceded in death by her parents and husband, she lived her final days with her son, Glen Gosa and his wife Judy in Manchester GA before moving to Warm Springs Nursing Home. She had one grandchild, Stephanie White and her husband Steve, of Sharpsburg GA.
