Kristie Lyn Longshore Scott, 44, of LaGrange passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at her home.

Kristie was born December 31, 1968 in LaGrange, GA. She was a member of Davidson Baptist Church where she started the church food closet. Kristie was involved with many missionary trips and was active with the Food Ministry for Hospice at Baptist Tabernacle Church. She was a member of the Georgia Disaster Relief Service. Kristie was preceded in death by a brother, Hal Longshore.

Survivors include her husband, Joel C. Scott, Sr.; two sons, Zachary Anderson (Amanda) and Lucas Harrington; two grandchildren, Kayden Anderson and Kohen Anderson; father and step mother, Rev. Howard and Debbi Longshore; mother, Robbie Longshore; step children, Joel C. Scott, Jr. (Jessica), Jenny Scott, Jessica Brooks, Zackary Nixon, Michael McMillian, and Jackson Scott; sister, Jennifer Pike (Greg); brother, Jonathan Longshore (Morgan); grandmother, Minnie Lee Longshore; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, including Kaison Pike.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Howard Longshore and Reverend Kenneth Binion officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Teddy and Marsha Longshore and will receive family and friends at the funeral home this evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
