Mrs. Marie Agnes Moss of Pine Mountain passed away Friday.

Mrs. Moss, a native of LaGrange, was born December 24, 1941, and was the daughter of the late Roy Sledge and Mattie Lee Roberts. She was a homemaker and member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her devoted husband, Offie Moss of Pine Mountain; two sons: Tommie Lee Sledge, LaGrange; Tyrone Sledge (Willene), Pine Mountain; four daughters: JoAnne Taylor (Tony), Woodbridge, VA; Sharon Griggs (Mitchell), LaGrange; Joyce Marie Moss, LaGrange; Yvette Turner (Bobby), Pine Mountain; one brother, Charlie Roberts; six sisters-in-law: Betty Allen, Boston, MA; Martha Lois McGhee (Hampie), Pine Mountain; Mary Frances Meredith (Titus), LaGrange; Lucy Kate Moss, Pine Mountain, Becky Moss (James), LaGrange; Brenda Moss (Eddie), Atlanta; one brother-in-law, Willie Woods, LaGrange; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one stepson, Ricky Brooks; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Dianne Moss; sister, Betty Woods; brother, Jackie Roberts; granddaughter, Taneshia Yvette Griggs; great-grandson, Jacob Israel Jordan; two brothers-in-law, Major Moss and Willie Alfred Moss.

The Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 1:00PM at the Smith Chapel United Methodist Church in Pine Mountain. Rev. Edward Landrum and Rev. Danny Alexander will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will be at their home at 13043 Georgia Highway 18 in Pine Mountain and will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:30 until 7:30.
