The Callaway Cavaliers jumped out to a big early lead en route to a 71-61 victory over Chapel Hill on Friday in the semifinals of the Region 4-AAA tournament.

The win sets up a showdown with Douglass in today's championship game.

Tip time will be 7:30 p.m., and the game will be played at Douglass High in Atlanta.

Callaway is the number one seed, and Douglass is seeded second.

In two regular-season games, each team won once.

"It's going to be a slugfest," Callaway head coach Terry Hayes said.

Against Chapel Hill, the Cavaliers ran out to an 11-0 lead, and they maintained the lead throughout the game.

Callaway was up 17-9 after the first quarter, 36-25 at the half and 55-42 through three periods.

Nehemiah Jones led the Cavaliers with 22 points, and Terry Godwin scored 12 points.
