Mrs. Beulah Parham, 89, of LaGrange passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at her home.
Mrs. Parham was born October 25, 1923, daughter of the late Charley and Eve Lowery Matheson. She was a member of Teaver Road Baptist Church. Mrs. Parham was a homemaker and was formerly employed by J. P. Stevens and Signal Mills.
Survivors include a daughter, Diane Parham Penton; son. Mike Lewis Parham both of LaGrange; grandchildren and their spouses, Chad and Cyndee Collins of Cashiers, NC, Todd and Nicole Penton, and Mitch Parham all of LaGrange; great-grandchildren, Hunter Collins, Nolan Collins, Tyler Penton, Summer Penton, Dylan Brown and Hayden Parham; sister, Della Reid of Walhalla, SC; brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Ovaline Matheson of Seneca, SC; and a sister-in-law, Bessie Matheson of Long Creek, SC; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Lewis Kimsey Parham, and several brothers.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 Friday at the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with Rev. Mike Reeves and Donnie Benefield officiating. Interment will be at Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will be at her home, and will receive friends at the funeral home this Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
