Steve was born September 19, 1956 in LaGrange. He was Baptist by faith. Steve worked for many years in heavy equipment maintenance. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amy Peoples Poole and by his mother, Betty Jean Hunter Hinton.
Survivors include his son, Tyler Poole of Duluth; father and step-mother, David and Johnnie Poole of Ellijay; sister, Theresa (Mike) Miller of LaGrange; brother, Greg (Traci) Poole of LaGrange; step-father, George Hinton of LaGrange; step-brother, Carl (Brenda) Wiley; step-sister, Melissa (Dante) Holloway; and two nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in Restlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 at the funeral home.
