Mrs. Grace Moore Foster, age 100 passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Brightmoor Nursing Center.

Mrs. Foster was born in Fayette County to the late William Olin Denmark Moore and the late Ockie Mae Slaton Moore. She was preceded in death by husband, James Alton Foster. Mrs. Foster was also preceded in death by a son Maurice Foster. She was retired from Dundee Mill #1 and was a member of the Cathedral of Praise Church in Digby.

Survivors include children and their spouses, Jimmy and Mary Foster of LaGrange, Melba and Edward Phillips of Brooks, Helen and James McClure of Griffin, Becky and Junior Ison of Brooks, Sybil and James LaFlamme of Griffin, Sandra and Richard Moore of Griffin; daughter-in-law, Barbara Foster of Griffin; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Foster will be conducted on Friday, November 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Cathedral of Praise Church. Reverend Roger Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow in church cemetery. Friends may visit the family Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Foster will be carried to the church lie-in-state at 11:00 am on Friday.

The family would like to thank the staff at Brightmoor for the loving care they gave to Mrs. Foster.
