Mr. Gosdin was born November 11, 1950 in LaGrange, son of the late Kernel Toney Gosdin and Esther Lou Gosdin. He was the owner of T.G.’s Jewelry Repair Shop for many years and was a U.S. Army Veteran and Mason. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gosdin was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Toney Gosdin.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 35 years, Jo Gosdin of LaGrange; two daughters, Jennifer Leigh (Joe) Haley of Hogansville, and Kristi Diane Gosdin of LaGrange; three grandchildren, Jackson Haley, Jameson Haley, and Kylie Binion; five sisters, Lynne (Steve) Johnson, Diane (Don) Turner, Nita Anderson, Jane (Lamar) Smith, and Carolyn (Glade) Stiles; and one brother, Dervin (Marie) Gosdin.
Graveside funeral services will be held 4:30 P.M. today in Restlawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Aaron McCollough officiating.
The family will be receiving friends at Hilyer Baptist Church, 88 Lower Big Springs Road, immediately following the graveside service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.
