The victims said they beaten after the crowd arrived for a possible party about 3 a.m. Sunday at a residence in the 1500 block of Mooty Bridge Road.
Police said a victim heard someone beating on his door and screaming. When he opened the door, a man began yelling at him and the two started to fight. A large group of men then ran around the house and began beating him as well.
Three men inside the residence tried to help the first victim, but were also beaten by the crowd.
The man’s wife attempted to shut the door but was pushed backward and scratched when one of the intruders grabbed her. Some of the assailants forced themselves inside the house to continue the fight, and two children also heard the fight from their bedroom in the back of the house.
The assailants, who fled in five vehicles, face charges of aggravated battery, battery and third-degree cruelty to children.
Officers said two of the victims suffered broken noses and one had his front teeth knocked out. The injured men, ages 19, 25 and 27, were treated at West Georgia Medical Center and released.
