The Laureate Pi chapter met Dec. 1 at the home of Lucy Buttrum. It was announced that Atlanta Dekalb will host the convention in May. Buttrum gave a program on Mary Todd Lincoln. Those present were Buttrum, Elaine Bradley, Mary Bruce, Cecile Keeble, Etta Roberts, Helen Skipper, Betty Smith and guest Joann Walker.

The group met again on Dec. 15 at the home of Karen Milkey. Club businesses was addressed, then members played a game passing Christmas ornaments while Lucy Buttrum read the Christmas story. All present were Cecile Keeble, Darlene Nixon, Betty Smith, Elaine Bradley, Etta Roberts, Lucy Buttrum, Mary Bruce, Anita Casey, Helen Skipper and Karen Milkey.

The group celebrated Christmas on Dec. 20 at Cock-of-the-Walk in Auburn.
