Mr. Steven Heard, 55, of Franklin passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Heard was born May 8, 1957 in LaGrange, son of Winona Gosdin and the late Durward Heard. He worked as an electrician for Interface Flooring.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Brenda Heard, of Franklin, GA; sister, Linda Yvonne Walker of Columbus, GA; a two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth Mark and Deborah Heard and Richard Arlin and Lana Heard, all of Franklin;; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Larry and Brenda Burton of Easley, SC and Gerald and Sue Burton of LaFrance, SC; a sister-in-law and brother in law, Joann and Hap Arnold of Simpsonville, SC; an aunt, Inell Freeman; uncle, James Heard and two cousins, Danny Freeman and Donna Freeman, all of LaGrange and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 Friday at the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with Rev. Donnie Benedfield officiating. Internment will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thurdsday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
