Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St. in LaGrange, hosts the exhibit Weddings of West Georgia: Something Old, Something New Friday to April 20 with wedding dresses, shoes, veils, announcements, invitations and newspaper reports used to spotlight love and weddings in West Georgia from the 1800s to the present. Admission is free. An opening reception and wedding tea is Feb. 16 from 2-4 p.m. The museum is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free of charge. Story Hour featuring stories, fingerplays, songs and rhymes for preschoolers and their escorts is at 10:30 a.m. at Hawkes Library in West Point.

The Briton Classic Film Series will be shown at 7 p.m. at the DHA Communty Center in Pine Mountain. Pianist Donald Tipton will be providing entertainment prior to the movie. Hills and Dales Estate’s Carleton Wood teaches the two-part workshop Garden Design — Laying The Foundation at 10 a.m. to help participants design a garden. Cost is $40 person, which includes both sessions. Workshop space is limited and pre-registration is required. Garden admission is included in registration.
