Mrs. Minnie Mae Bain, 90, of LaGrange passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Twin Fountains Nursing Home.

Mrs. Bain was born December 3, 1922, in Eclectic, Alabama, daughter of the late Eddie D. and Alma L. Coleman Thornton. She was a homemaker and a member of Reeds Chapel Baptist Church in West Point.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Buddy and Sandra Bain of Fredonia, AL, Kenneth and Mary Ellen Bain of Valley, AL, and Larry and Pam Bain of LaGrange; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Larry Yarbrough of Jonesboro; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Bain, and an infant daughter.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 Friday at Restlawn Memory Gardens with Pastor Jeff McCartney and Rev. Wayne Hester officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6:00 until 8:00. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Bain to Hospice LaGrange, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, GA 30240.
