Hawkes Library in West Point will combine its annual book sale with a coffee house this year.

The sale is from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7 and 8 at the library. The library has had book sales in the past, but this is the first attempt at a coffee house. Friends of Hawkes Library is providing the coffee and refreshments are provided by West Point Woman’s Club.

Money raised at the event will go to purchasing children’s books for the library.

Prices start at 50 cents and many of the books offered for sale will be used. Many are duplicates that have been donated to the library, or, due to limited space, won’t fit on the shelves.
