Mr. Larry Eugene Farmer, age 69, of Columbus, died on February 16, 2013, at the Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Farmer was born on July 11, 1943, in Phoenix City to the late Reginald and Johnnie Whitley Farmer. Mr. Farmer proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Tech Sargent. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Neil Farmer and Ronnie Farmer.

He is survived by his sons Steve Farmer, Robert Farmer and David Farmer; daughter, Kimberly Smallwood and her husband Chad; sisters, Mildred Dison and her husband Malcom and Margaret Tomlin and her husband Jim; grandchildren, Sean, Patrick, Cody and Connor; numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 18, from 2-4 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home. A private family interment will be held.
