Mr. Richard F. Veal, of LaGrange, died on February 24, 2013 at the Hospice LaGrange.
Mr. Veal was born on December 10, 1953 to the late Robert Veal and Vera Holcomb Veal in Franklin, Georgia. He worked for the Miliken Company in the maintenance department.
He loved his family and leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughters, Christy Hilyer and her husband Rodney of LaGrange and Angie Senter and her husband Michael also of LaGrange; brothers, Wayne Veal and his wife Kay of Opelika, Steve Veal of Panama City, Fl., Eddie Veal of Hogansville and Ron Veal and his wife Linda of Newnan; sisters, Peggy Hughes of LaGrange, Barbara Smith of LaGrange and Angie Jones and her husband Brad of Anniston, Al.; grandchildren, Justin Jones, Reagan Jones, Stephen Hilyer, Abby Smith and Anabella Senter; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 26, at 2:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Oleson and Rev. David Cross officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Franklin City Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
