Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St. in LaGrange, hosts the exhibit Weddings of West Georgia: Something Old, Something New until April 20 with wedding dresses, shoes, veils, announcements, invitations and newspaper reports used to spotlight love and weddings in West Georgia from the 1800s to the present. Admission is free. The museum is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free of charge. For more information, call 706-884-1828.

Retrospective: Photographs by Douglas Kirkland is on display at LaGrange Art Museum, featuring the photography of the noted Hollywood celebrity photographer, in the Cochran Gallery through April 27. 809 Gallery of Art, 809 Hill St., hosts Student Exhibition 2013 with art by local students until March 30. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

New Community Church hosts Career Connect, a free job search assistance and networking event, at 5:30 p.m. with representatives from the Department of Labor Career Center, Troup County Works, staffing agencies, businesses and industries. For February, the featured local employer is Kimberly Clark and featured agency is Manpower, with program focusing on soft skills.

The LaGrange Area Moms of Multiples club hosts a Spring Consignment Sale from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church on Hammett Road. Proceeds will go toward community causes.

Helen Phillips, horticulturist at Garden Solutions, hosts The Art of Espalier class at 10 a.m. at Hills and Dales Estates and will share her creative approach to creating espaliers. Each participant will receive a fruit tree ready to be espaliered. Cost is $35 per person. Workshop space is limited and pre-registration is required. Garden admission is included in registration. New River Band performs country music at 7 p.m. at the Active Life center on Ragland Street. Admission is $5.
