Mrs. Lula Johnson, daughter of the late William and Lula Harris was born March 11, 1914.

She departed this earthly journey and entered into eternal rest on June 9, 2012.

She was loved by everyone. She loved to talk, even if she had to talk to herself. She would ask herself a question and answer it too. Her favorite thing to do was eat. She loved good food, and at the age of 98, she still had a good appetite. She did Clerical work in Chicago, and later worked as a live in maid for a family until she retired. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her only son, Jimmy Johnson.

She leaves to cherish his memories, five grandchildren of Chicago, IL; her caregivers and nieces, Betty Billingslea and Tavecia Billinglsea; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
