Margaret Jones passed on June 13, 2012 to join her Heavenly Father. She was ninety four years old. She is survived by her daughter Angeline Bell of Cambria, CA; her son Chester Jones of Tustin, CA; her sister Kate Howard of LaGrange, GA; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was living in Tustin California when she died of natural causes. Although she lived in California off and on for many years, she considered LaGrange, Georgia her home. She will return to La Grange for burial.
Margaret’s maiden name was Prather. She was a founding member of New Hope Baptist Church; however, she was a member of Harmony Methodist Church for many years and will be laid to rest in the Harmony Methodist Church cemetery where her husband Fred and infant son are already buried. Margaret’s family plan to gather in LaGrange to pay their respects at a graveside memorial service at Harmony Methodist Church, 6008 Roanoke Road; Saturday, July 21, 2012; 10:00 am. All those who would like to pay their respects are welcome.
