Funeral service for Lois T. Watson, 86, of LaGrange, Georgia will be held Wednesday August 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. EST at Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange. Reverend Brad Thompson is officiating. Burial will be held in Shadow Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at Faith Baptist Church.

Visitation for friends and family is Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. CST at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home Opelika, Alabama.

Mrs. Watson was born March 3, 1926 in Troup County, Georgia. She passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at East Alabama Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of LaGrange. She was owner of Alabama Novelty Store and was of Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Watson; two sons, Toney Watson, Carey Watson; two step-sons; and a step-daughter.

Survivors include two sons, Ronnie (Karen) Harris of Opelika, Jack (Linda) Harris of Milledgeville, GA; daughter-in-law, Debbie Watson of Hogansville, GA; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
