Mrs. Jettie Poole of Franklin passed away Thursday at her home.

Mrs. Poole, a native of Heard County, was born December 18, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Milton and Fannie Drummond Thomas. She was retired from Franklin Aluminum and was a member of Mount Carrie Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include nine children: Mr. and Mrs. Johnny White (Surlinda), Franklin, GA; Mr. and Mrs. Reuben H. Poole (Joanne), LaGrange; Ms. Judy Cook, Grantville, GA; Mr. Jerry Poole, Franklin; Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Fluellen (Shari), Grantville; Ms. Brenda Poole, Ms. Edith Dunson (Alfredo), Franklin; Rev. and Mrs. James L. Chelcy (Juanita), LaGrange; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Poole (Lorraine), Carrollton, GA; one daughter-in-law, Rosemary Poole, LaGrange; 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; sisters: Mrs. Arizona Edmondson, LaGrange; Mrs. Ira M. Fisher, Mrs. Etha Hall, Atlanta, GA; two brothers: Mr. James Thomas and Mr. Bradley Thomas (Elaine), all of Atlanta; sister-in-law, Annie Dora Poole Watkins, Cincinnati, OH; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Bonner Poole; and one son, Deacon Hilliard Poole; and three grandchildren: Judy Ann Poole, Suspacea and Vanessa White; and sister, Clementine Jefferson.

The funeral service will be Monday, October 29, 2012 at 1:00PM at the Mount Carrie Missionary Baptist Church, Victory Road, Franklin. Rev. Ronnie Jones and Rev. L. B. Houston will officiate. Burial will be in the Stutts Memorial Garden.

The family will be at their home at 300 Young Road in Franklin.
