Mrs. Hifumi Wyman passed on peacefully at her home in LaGrange, Monday, Dec. 10, 2012.

Mrs. Wyman was born Nov. 15, 1921, in Futsukaichi, Japan, to a very prominent family in the region. She was a Classical Japanese Dance teacher and Ikebana Japanese flower arrangement teacher for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Wyman; their only child and daughter, Rumi Marie Smith; son in-law, Gary Smith; four grandchildren, Leah Karvelas, Christi Smith, Charles Smith and his wife Casey Gaddy Smith, Yurii Smith-Crockett and her husband Jeremy Crockett; and nine great-grandchildren, Nicholas Karvelas, Ciera Karvelas, Alec Karvelas, Shaylee Smith, Mary Smith, Trevor Garcia, Kalee Crockett, Aubrey Crockett, and Preston Lee Crockett.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night and at other times will be at the home of Charles and Casey Smith at 201 Brookcrest Dr. in LaGrange.
