Ms. Sarah N. Brazell, age 82, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013.
Ms. Brazell was born May 4, 1930, in Randolph County, AL, daughter of the late James Wilner Pound and Vesta Bagley Pound. Ms. Brazell was employed with SunTrust Bank from 1962 until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, G.A. Pound, Kennon Pound, Sr., James E. Pound, and one sister, Anita Pound Poore.
Survivors include Robert A. Brazell, Sr. of Jefferson, GA; two sons, David (Cathie) Brazell of Jefferson, GA and Robert A. (Pam) Brazell, Jr. of Orlando, FL; five grandsons, Joe (Ashley) Brazell of Orlando, FL, Bill (Anna) Brazell of LaGrange, GA, Matt Brazell of Montgomery, AL, Robbie Brazell, and Ryan Brazell, all of Orlando, FL; sister, Dean Collum of Richmond, VA; sister- in-law, Lee Pound of Lagrange, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in Orlando, FL, Monday, March 4, 2013. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, GA. Reverend Jerry Ledbetter will be officiating.
