Willie F. Ranson passed away March 18, 2013 at Hospcie LaGrange.

He was August 6, 1941 in Grantville (Coweta County) Georgia to the late Willie Joe and Sara Rhodes Ranson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette M. Ranson; daughter, Mechell Ranson; brothers, Robert Lee Ranson and Authur Lee Ranson; and sister, Gunnell Rhodes.

Survivors include one son, Willie Floyd (Stephanie) Ranson, Jr.; three daughters, Deborah Ranson Herring, Nicole C. Watkins (Robert) Blocton; and Greta L. Watkins; sister, Ruby Mae Daniel; 13 grandchildren, special niece, Carmen Y. Hill; special friends, Grady Harris and Jim Parks; and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.

The Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Confidence Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Jackson and Rev. Roderick Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
