This letter is addressed to all the boaters who use West Point Lake.

A big thank you to the ones who actually can read and obey the NO WAKE ZONE going under the bridges. Unfortunately, these people are few and far between.

The rest seem to be a bunch of morons who either can’t read or don’t care. I spent Memorial Day weekend anchored under different bridges trying to enjoy some fishing with my family, only to be constantly rocked around by idiots going way too fast and making big wakes.

You can yell at them to slow down but they just look at you like you’re crazy. NO WAKE means IDLE SPEED ONLY!!!!

If you don’t understand any of this then STAY OUT OF THE DRIVER SEAT. Have some respect for the other boaters sitting there.
